Rear Brake Rotor

Removing

- Raise the vehicle.

- Remove the wheel and tire.

- Remove the brake caliper.

- Support the brake caliper on the body.

- Inspect the rotor for signs of damage or dirt.

- If rotor is damaged, remove drive axle with rotor and replace outer joint.

Installing

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

- Route the speed sensor wire back in original position.

- Before installing, lubricate the speed sensor seal all around with lubricating paste (G 000 650).

If the rotor is damaged or dirty, remove the drive axle. If damaged, replace outer Constant Velocity (CV) joint together with rotor.

The outer CV joint is supplied as a replacement part with the rotor.
