Front Seats

• From 06.2006, the usual wiring harness routing to connector station under front seat. Refer to => [ Connectors, Disconnecting ] Front Seats has been replaced with modular wiring routing => [ Modular Wiring Routing Assembly Overview, from June 2006 ] Front Seats.

• The modular wiring routing has not been implemented for all countries.

• Check version of front seat and of vehicle and perform repairs accordingly.

• Note the two possible versions of the modular wiring routing, Modular Light or Modular. Refer to => [ Modular Wiring Routing Versions ] Front Seats.

Backrest Adjusting Wheel





• Assembly tool (3399)

• Removing

- Turn backrest adjustment wheel - 1 - until you see a locking tab at back - arrow A -. Use a flashlight, if needed.





- Hook in assembly tool (3399) - 2 - and pry in direction of arrow - B -.

- Turn backrest adjustment wheel - 1 - about 120° more.

- Attach special tool 3399 - 2 - and pry in direction of arrow - B -.

- Remove backrest adjustment wheel - 1 -.

• Installing

• If backrest adjustment wheel is too loose after installation, replace wheel.
