Backrest Cover and Padding, Removing and Installing

Separating Cover and Upholstery from Backrest Frame







1 - Backrest
Removal:
- Remove seat.
- Remove the backrest.
- Remove headrest.
- Remove headrest guides: Vehicles until 10.04, vehicles from 11.04.
- Remove backrest cover panel.
- Pry out lower grip channels - 3 - (3x).
- Disengage side grip channels - 2 - (2x).
- Remove backrest frame.
- Remove cable guide - 6 -.
- Open cable tie - 4 -.
- Pull seat heater cable - 5 - up and out.
- Remove side airbag.
- Pry out plastic tabs - 7 - (5x).
- Remove upholstery with cover.

Installing:
Installation is reverse of removal.

2 - Side fastening strips (2x)
3 - Lower fastening strips (3x)
4 - Cable tie
5 - Seat heating cable
6 - Cable guide
7 - Plastic tabs (Qty. 5)

Separating Cover from Upholstery







1 - Cover
Removal:

- Lever out grip channels - 4 - from plastic clips - 3 - using a screwdriver.

Installing:
Installation is reverse of removal. Observe the following when doing so:

- Replaced damaged plastic clips.
