- Disconnect connector at Outside Air Temperature Sensor G17 and remove from mount in air guide.
- Resistance values
- Measuring value of Outside Air Temperature Sensor G17 is evaluated by Instrument Cluster Control Module J285 and transmitted via CAN-Bus comfort system to operating and display module, Climatronic Control Module J255 "Guided Fault-Finding" Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing Info. System VAS5051B or Vehicle Diagnosis Service Syst. VAS5052
12 - A/C Compressor Regulator Valve N280 1), 2)
- Checking activation and function
13 - Compressor
- Removing compressor from bracket/reinstalling.
- Removing refrigerant line at compressor/installing.
- Removing and mounting compressor.
- Type of compressor differs depending on engine (installed to right or left of engine, 6-cyl. engine, 8-cyl. engine).
