Rear Lid, Adjusting

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Adjustment Gauge (3371)

Gap Dimensions





Check the gap dimensions using the (3371).

• In - A - area = 3.5 mm ± 0.5 mm

• In - B - area = 3.7 mm ± 0.5 mm

• In - C - area = 5.0 mm ± 0.5 mm

Height Adjustment






- The lid front height can be adjusted by loosening the nut and sliding it in the direction of the - arrow -.

- With the hinge installed, the rear shelf must be removed.

- With the rear shelf installed, disengage the spring on the hinge.

- Remove the hinge under the rear shelf, loosen the nut on the hinge and slide it accordingly.

- After adjusting, tighten the nut on the hinge to 20 Nm.

- Install the hinge and engage the spring and gas-filled strut, if necessary.

- The rear height can be adjusted by sliding the end plate - 1 -.






- Loosen the nut - 2 -, slide it accordingly and tighten the nuts to the specification.
