Automatic Dimming Interior Rearview Mirror, Adjusting

It is necessary to set RHD or LHD when:

• A new automatic dimming interior rearview mirror (Y7) is installed.

• In the newer automatic day/night interior rearview mirrors (Y7) , the zone sensor has been moved from the mirror base to the mirror housing. The steering side "must" only be set with these mirrors.

• To recognize the new automatic day/night interior mirror (Y7) , press the button - 2 - longer than 12 seconds; an "L" or an "A" will appear.






- Press button - 2 - for 12 to 15 seconds until "L" appears - for LHD.

- Press the button again; the drive side will be changed.

- The display switches automatically to "C - for calibrate" after a short time. The digital compass must now be calibrated. Refer to => [ Digital Compass, Calibrating ] Digital Compass, Calibrating.

- The interior rearview mirror automatic dimming function is reactivated after the calibration is complete. To change refer to => [ Automatic Dimming Function, Switching On and Off ] Automatic Dimming Function, Switching On and Off.
