Front Bucket Seat

• The bucket seat does not have a side airbag. Therefore, the electrical connection for the side airbag must have a terminal resistance in the wiring harness.

• The terminal resistor is a component of the wiring harness.

Removing






- Move bucket seat - 1 - all the way up and back.

- Remove the bolts - 2 -.

- Move the bucket seat all the way forward.

- Remove the bolts - 3 -.

- Tilt the bucket seat back and disconnect the electrical harness connectors. Refer to => [ Harness Connectors, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Harness Connectors, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Remove the bucket seat from the vehicle with a second technician.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.
