Input Shaft Seal

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Pulling Hook (T20143/1)

• Thrust Piece for Final Drive at Gearbox (T40166)

• Sealing Grease (G 052 128 A1)

• Transmission removed.

- Remove the clutch module. Refer to => [ Clutch Module ] Clutch Module.

- Pry out the input shaft seal.





- Lightly oil outer circumference of new shaft seal for the input shaft.





- Fill area between sealing lip and dust lip halfway with sealing grease (G 052 128 A1).

- Install the shaft seal all the way. Be careful not to bend it.

- Install the clutch module => [ Install the Clutch Module ] Clutch Module.
