Power Front Memory Seats
• From 07.2006, the usual wiring harness routing to connector station under front seat => [ Connectors, Disconnecting ] Power Front Memory Seats Overview has been replaced with modular wiring routing => [ Modular Wiring Routing, from 07.2006, Assembly Overview ] Standard Front Seats Overview.
• The modular wiring routing has not been implemented for all countries.
• Check version of front seat and of vehicle and perform repairs accordingly.
• Note the two possible versions of the modular wiring routing, Modular Light or Modular => [ Modular Wiring Routing Versions ] Standard Front Seats Overview.

• Removing
• When replacing actuator, lumbar support must not be at an end position.
- Remove backrest cover panel => [ Backrest Cover ].
- Disconnect electrical harness connector => [ Disconnecting electrical harness connector and
disengaging retaining bracket at actuator ].
- Disengage retaining bracket and remove actuator upward => [ Disconnecting electrical harness connector and
disengaging retaining bracket at actuator ].
• Installing
Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
- Actuator can only be installed in one position.

• Removing
• When replacing actuator, lumbar support must not be at an end position.

disengaging retaining bracket at actuator ].
- Disengage retaining bracket and remove actuator upward => [ Disconnecting electrical harness connector and
disengaging retaining bracket at actuator ].
• Installing
Installation is performed in reverse order of removal, noting the following:
- Actuator can only be installed in one position.
