Lock Carrier Service Position

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Support Tool (3369)

Removing

- Loosen quick release screws - 1 - and - 2 - and remove noise insulation.





- Remove left and right front wheel housings

- Remove front bumper

- Remove left and right headlights.

- Remove the screw left and right lower bolt on the lock carrier.





- Remove hood seal on both fenders.





- Remove the 2 bolts - arrows - at the top of the lock carrier on the left and right sides.

- Turn special tool for Service Position Front End (3369) left and right in holes for lock carrier screws to unscrew the respective screws.

- Unthread remaining bolts - arrows - at left and right.





- Push lock carrier forward carefully.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, noting the following:

- Install lock carrier with attachments.

- Allow torque arm stop to make contact with rubber buffer with own weight and tighten bolts - arrow -.





- Install headlights.

- Install front bumper.

- Check headlight adjustment. Refer to => 4 F.
