Seat Heating Element

Removing

- Remove cover and upholstery from seat pan. Refer to => [ Seat Pan Cover and Upholstery ] Seat Pan Cover and Upholstery.

- Disconnect cover from upholstery. Refer to => [ Seat Pan Cover, Separating from Upholstery ] Seat Pan Cover, Separating from Upholstery.

- Cut wire - 2 - off of old heating element - 3 -.





• The old seat heating element remains on the upholstery - 1 - and the new seat heating element is bonded over it.

Installation

- Align new seat heating element - 3 - on upholstery - 1 -.





- Remove protective foil and bond new seat heating element - 3 - to upholstery - 1 - and the old seat heating element.

- Lay the new seat heating element wire - 2 - in the base of the depression in the upholstery.

Further installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
