1 Gas strut

• Noise insulation element must be engaged in rear lid side.

2 Rear lid

• Removing:

• When reinstalling lid (for example, when replacing seal), it is not necessary to make a readjustment using the adjusting piece indicated between rear lid and hinge.

• Remove the rear lid trim panel.

• Disconnect or pull off electrical harness connectors and hose for rear window washer system.

• Remove gas-filled struts from rear lid.

• Second person is required to support and lift hood.

• Remove screws at rear lid on left and right lid hinges, do not remove screws for adjusting piece. Refer to => [ Rear Lid Hinge ] Rear Lid Hinge

• Remove rear lid.

3 Lid grip piece

• Removal, refer to => [ Grip ] Grip

4 Combination screw

• 8 Nm

5 Stop

6 Adjusting buffer

7 Combination screw

• 8 Nm

8 Seal

• Rear lid removed for removal.

9 Hex nut

• 20 Nm

10 Hood catch

• Note different versions.
