Lower Front Bumper






Lower Front Bumper

- Loosen quick-release screws - arrows - from front lower noise insulation - 1 -





- Open quick-release screws - arrows - on left and right at bottom on wheelhousing liners.





- Remove hex bolts - 1 - on wheelhousing liners at bottom.





- Quick-release screws - arrow - already opened

- Remove both bolts - arrows - from front wheelhousing liner.





- Rear wheelhousing liner - 2 - is not removed.

- Remove upper bolt - arrow - from front wheelhousing liner.





Press clamping pins on wheelhousing liners only approx. 5 mm into clamping and not all the way through.

This releases the clamping pin and can be pulled out.

When installing, slide back clamping pin and expanding clip can be reused.

- Press clamping pins of expanding clips - arrow - on front wheelhousing liner approx. 5 mm deep into expanding clip using a screwdriver.





- Pull out expanding clip.

- Also the expanding clip in upper....





- And in rear area of front wheelhousing liner.





- Press wheelhousing liner in forward part to the side until nuts for securing bumper cover are accessible.

- Remove nuts - 2 - of threaded pins - 1 - of bumper cover on both sides.





- Remove upper bolts - 2 - from cover - 3 -.





- Also both front bolts - 1 -.

- Pull cover - 1 - out of guide piece for fender at bottom as shown.





- Pull cover slightly toward front and disconnect lines for headlamp cleaning system and all electrical wires.

- Remove bumper cover completely.
