• 3 For bolt clarification, refer to - items 3 and 6 - in=> [ Power Steering Pump Assembly Overview ] Power Steering Components.

Steering Column Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification





- Tighten the bolt - A - to 22 Nm.

- Tighten bolts - B and C - to 22 Nm.

- Lastly, tighten bolt - C - to 22 Nm.

Power Steering Gear Bolt Tightening Sequence and Specification





- Tighten the bolt - A - to 95 Nm.

- Tighten the bolt - B - to 95 Nm.

- Finally tighten the bolt - C - to 95 Nm. Set the (VAG 1332) to 75 Nm to tighten the bolt - C - This specification applies only in conjunction with (T40037).
