Radio System, from 1 June 2009

Radio system is a component of the MMI Infotainment generation 3. It is connected to the information electronics control module 1 (J794) via the MOST bus.

The standard Sound System is connected directly to the radio (R). The analog tuner and the SDARS (satellite digital audio radio service) tuner are located inside the radio depending on the vehicle equipment level.
