Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Removing
- Adjust steering wheel downward and to rear as far as possible, use entire adjustment range of steering column adjustment for this.
- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.
- Remove the left trim.
- Remove the trim with the right switch strip.
- Remove the vent in the instrument.
- Remove screws - arrows -.
• Use adhesive tape to affix cloth to protect steering column trim and steering arms.
- Unclip air vents from trim and unplug connectors at air vents.
- Disconnect electrical connectors on instrument cluster cover.
- Engage turn signal indicator switch in lower switch position.
- Activate "one-touch wiping" function and remove instrument cluster cover in this wiper switch position.
- Remove screws - arrows -.
- Detach buttons - 1 - and - 2 -.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:
- Install the instrument panel vent.
- Install the trim with the right switch strip.
- Install the left trim.
