Refrigerant Circuit

Refrigerant Lines, Disconnecting and Connecting from Evaporator

Removing

- Drain the refrigerant circuit.

- Remove brake master cylinder and brake booster.

- Disconnect refrigerant lines at suspension strut dome by removing bolt - A -.





- Remove socket head bolt - A - (tightening torque 25 Nm).





- Disconnect refrigerant lines - B - and - C - from evaporator and seal open connections.

To seal open connections on evaporator and lines, use cap from replacement evaporator to prevent ingress of dirt and moisture.

Installing

Installation is carried out in the reverse order, when doing this note the following:

- Replace O-rings - A - and - B -. Version. .





Coat O-ring seals lightly with refrigerant oil before installing. Refer to => [ Refrigerant Circuit O-Ring Seals ] Refrigerant Circuit O-Ring Seals.

- Install refrigerant pipes such that they are not strained.

- After securing refrigerant lines and installing brake master cylinder, check whether lines are guided properly - A -.





- Check position of refrigerant pipes with respect to evaporator.

- Re-install remaining components removed.

- Evacuate and re-charge refrigerant circuit.

- Operate the A/C system after filling the refrigerant circuit. Refer to => [ Operating A/C System after Filling Refrigerant Circuit ] Operating A/C System after Filling Refrigerant Circuit
