Climatronic Control Module -J255-, Reading

Read Measuring Value Block (Climatronic Control Module -J255-) (Function 08)
- With ignition off, connect up vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system VAS 5051 with diagnostic cable VAS 5051/5A to 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC) in vehicle.
- Switch on ignition or start engine.
- Set "Auto" mode on Climatronic Control Module -J255-.
- Use address word "08" to select air conditioner/heater electronics.

Indicated on display of VAS 5051:







- Check DTC memory. With Manufacturer Scan Tool
- Select function "08 - Read Measuring Value Block".

Indicated on display of VAS 5051:







- Prompt for entering display group appears in display zone -1-.
- Input keypad appears in display zone -2-.







- Use input keypad in display zone -2- to enter desired display group (e.g."001" or "01" for "display group number 001") and confirm by touching Q key.

List of available display group numbers:
- Display groups "001" to "019" Display Group 001 - 019
- Display groups "020" to "039" Display Group 020 - 039
- Display groups "040" to "050" Display Group 040 - 050

Indicated on display of VAS 5051:







- Display group selected appears in display zone -1-.
- The values for the four display zones appear in display zone -2-:
- Value for display zone "1" appears on first line.
- Values for respective display zones appear on second, third and fourth lines.
- Line remains blank if a display zone is not used.
- Different display group can be selected by touching keys -3-.
- Different function can be selected by touching keys -4- (e.g. to switch from "Read Measuring Value Block" to "Basic Setting" and back again).

- Enter desired display group number.
