Front Parking Aid Sensors






Component location: Inside the bumper - arrows -.

Removing






Inner Sensor:

- Remove front bumper cover.

- If equipped, release left and right retaining clips - arrows - and remove filler piece - 1 -.

Outer Sensors:






Vehicles With Gasoline Engine:

- Remove air intake grille - 1 - in upper part of bumper cover - arrow -.

Vehicles With 6-Cylinder TDI Engine:

- Remove fog lamp. Refer to => [ Fog Lamp ] Fog Lamp.

- Remove bumper cover air inlet grille - 1 - - arrow B -.

Vehicles With S Line Equipment:

- Remove front bumper cover.

All Vehicles






- Reach through opening.

- Press both retainer tabs to side - arrows - and press sensor - 2 - from outside towards inside.

- Disconnect electrical harness connector - 1 - at sensor.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

Inner Sensor:

- Install front bumper cover.

Outer Sensors:

Vehicles with S line equipment:

- Install front bumper cover.
