• Removing and installing, refer to => Comfort System Central Control Module 2 (J773).

Remove the Fuel filler door unlock motor - V 155 - through VIN 4L 9-014 900






1 Motor For Fuel Filler Door Release

• Side trim on right side of luggage compartment removed.

- Disconnect electrical harness connector to motor.

- Loosen the screws - arrows - turning them to the right (3 mm hex) and remove the motor - 1 - from the oblong holes.

- Before installing new motor, you must first slide emergency release eye- 4 -over locking pin.

• For easier installation, slide an appropriate hose - 5 -from outside to inside as an assisting tool in luggage compartment.

• Place hose - 5 -on operating rod- 4 - and pull outward in tank cup.

- Slide motor into oblong holes and tighten screws to 2 Nm by turning to left.

Removing the Fuel filler door unlock motor - V 155 - starting with VIN 4L 9-014 901

• The fuel filler door unlock motor is removed together with the fuel tank insert.

• The fuel tank insert must be replaced.






1 Fuel Filler Door Unit

• Removal, refer to => [ Remove The Tank Flap
Unit ] Fuel Filler Door Unit.

• Must be replaced after removing

• Disengage the emergency release on the Comfort system central control module (J393) bracket before removing.

• When installing the cable for the fuel tank flap emergency release, route it through the luggage compartment and attach it to the comfort system central control module bracket.

2 Fuel Tank Insert Cover

• Removal, refer to => [ Unlocking The Fuel
Tank Insert Cover ] Fuel Filler Door.

3 Bolt

• 1.5 Nm

4 Fuel Filler Door Unlock Motor - V 155 -

• Fuel tank insert removed.

- Disengage the emergency release on the Comfort system central control module (J393) bracket and remove it through the tank flap opening.

- Remove the screws and remove the motor from the fuel tank insert.
