Seat Pan Cover and Upholstery

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Upholstery Clip Pliers (V.A.G 1634)

Separating Cover And Padding From Seat Pan

Removing

- Remove the seat bench. Refer to => [ Bench Seat, 2nd Row ] Bench Seat, 2nd Row.

- Remove LATCH caps. Refer to => [ LATCH Cap, 2nd and 3rd Row Seats ] LATCH Cap, 2nd and 3rd Row Seats.

- Remove seat cushion. Refer to => [ Seat Cushion ] Seat Cushion.

- Remove the seat heating connector.

- Remove fastening strips - 1 -.






- Remove cover and padding.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal.

- Cut the upholstery clips - 2 -.

- Remove the cover - 1 - from cushion - 3 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- When installing new upholstery clips, use (V.A.G 1634).
