HID Headlamp Ballast

• Adjust the headlamps after performing any work that could have affected their adjustment, refer to => [ Headlamps, Adjusting ] Headlamps, Adjusting.

Danger to life due to high voltage.

Removing






- Remove headlamp. Refer to => [ Headlamps ] Headlamps.

- Remove the screws - arrows - and remove the ballast - 4 - from headlamp housing.

- Disconnect the adapter wire - 2 - and the connector - 3 - on the ballast.

- Remove the ballast.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Check the seal - 1 - between the ballast and headlamp housing for damage.

- Install headlamp. Refer to => [ Headlamps ] Headlamps.
