Affected Vehicles





CONDITION

^ Transmission fluid leaking from automatic transmission cooler lines between gearbox and ATF cooler.

^ Affects all Audi Q7 with an automatic gearbox (09D, 0AT).

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

Seals in the area of the oil temperature regulator can be damaged due to burrs in the connection and may develop transmission fluid leaks.

PRODUCTION SOLUTION

Change of radiuses of the connections of the oil temperature regulator in production.

SERVICE

1. If there is leakage on the connections with the oil temperature regulator (no.3/4/5/6), then please replace both the oil temperature regulator and the seals.








2. If the leakage is not in the area of the oil temperature regulator, please identify the location of the leak according to the picture with a number or letter. Open a Technical Assistance Center (TAC) ticket and contact a TAC representative.
