General Information

The radio systems are prepared for Satellite Radio (R146) use or Satellite Radio is installed.

The radio is the RNS-E with deactivated navigation module. All other functions (except navigation/TV) are available.

The Satellite radio for SDARS is installed under the rear shelf/behind the rear panel.

Communication with other vehicle systems takes place via the Infotainment CAN-Bus and Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface (J533).

Troubleshooting is preformed using Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 in operating mode "Guided Fault Finding ".
