HID Headlamp Housing Repair Set, Installing

• Headlamps must be adjusted after performing measures that could influence headlamp adjustment. Refer to => [ Headlamps, Checking and Adjusting ] Adjustments.

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

• Headlamp mounting tabs that have broken off can be replaced by installing the repair set. Completely replacing the headlamp is not necessary.

• There are different repair kits for left and right headlamps.

Procedure





• Tightening specification, refer to => [ Bi-Xenon HID Headlamps Assembly Overview ] Bi-Xenon HID Headlamps Assembly Overview.

- Remove headlamp with broken mounting tab. Refer to => [ HID Headlamp Housing ] HID Headlamp Housing.

- Remove remains of broken mounting tab at headlamp housing.

- Attach the strap - 2 - or - 5 - from the repair set on the headlamp housing - 4 - and secure the strap with the screws - 1 and 3 - or - 6 -.
