Ribbed Belt Drive Assembly Overview





1 Bolt

• 22 Nm

2 Bolt

• 22 Nm

3 Tensioning element for ribbed belt

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Ribbed Belt Tensioner ] Service and Repair

4 Ribbed belt

• Check for wear

• Do not kink

• Before removing, mark direction of rotation using chalk or felt-tip marker

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Ribbed Belt ] Ribbed Belt

• When installing, make sure it is seated correctly on the ribbed belt pulleys

5 Bolt

• 22 Nm

6 Generator

7 Bolt

• M8 - 22 Nm

• M10 - 46 Nm

8 Generator bracket

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Generator Bracket ] Generator Bracket

9 Alignment bushing

• For generator bracket

• 2 pieces

10 Vibration damper

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Vibration Damper with Ribbed Belt Pulley ] Service and Repair

11 Alignment bushing

• For the vibration damper and ribbed belt pulley

12 Ribbed belt pulley

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Vibration Damper with Ribbed Belt Pulley ] Service and Repair

13 Bolt

• Replace, only use original bolts.

• Tightening specification and sequence, refer to => [ Vibration Damper, Tightening Specification and
Sequence ]

Vibration Damper, Tightening Specification and Sequence





- Tighten the bolt diagonally and in 3 steps as follows:

- Tighten the bolts to 15 Nm.

- Tighten the bolts to 22 Nm.

- Tighten the bolts an additional 90°.
