Data Bus On Board Diagnostic Interface

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Removing





- If the control module was replaced, select the Replace function for the respective control module in Guided Fault Finding or Guided Functions.

- Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

- Remove driver storage compartment.

- Disconnect electrical connector - 6 -.

- Release retaining clips - 1 and 5 - by pressing them together - arrows -.

- Disengage the retaining tab - 2 - on the bracket - 3 - and remove the data bus on board diagnostic interface (J533) - item 4 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install driver storage compartment.
