Data Link Connector (DLC)

• Location: At the left under the instrument panel - arrow -.





The following components can be checked in the "Guided Fault Finding" operating mode.

Transmission Control Module (J217)

• Location: behind the passenger seat under the rear shelf - arrow -.

Selector Lever Sensor System Control Module (J587) - 3 -





• Location: in the R tronic shift mechanism - 1 -.

Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor (G182), Gear Recognition Sensor (G604), Gear Recognition Sensor 2 (G616)





1. Transmission Input Speed (RPM) Sensor (G182)

• Location: On the rear of the transmission.

2 Gear Recognition Sensor 2 (G616)
3 Gear Recognition Sensor (G604)

• Location: On the R tronic shift actuator.

Hydraulic Pressure Sensor (G270), Clutch Actuator Valve (N255), Gear Selection 1 (N284), Gear Selection Valve 2 (N285), Gear Selection Valve 3 (N286)





1. Gear Selection Valve 3 (N286)

2. Hydraulic Pressure Sensor (G270)

3. Gear Selection Valve 2 (N285)

4. Clutch Actuator Valve (N255)

5. Gear Selection Valve 1 (N284)

• Location: On the R tronic shift actuator.

Transmission Hydraulic Pump (V387) motor - 1 -





• Location: At the right on the transmission on the R tronic hydraulic unit.

• Ignore - arrows -.

• Check the auxiliary Ground (GND) connection - arrow - on the top of the hydraulic unit bracket because the Transmission Hydraulic Pump (V387) is grounded by the metal housing.

Transmission Hydraulic Pump Relay (J510)





The Transmission Hydraulic Pump Relay (J510) is in the relay carrier under the rear shelf.

Clutch Position Sensor (G476) - 1 -.
