Removing and installing front seat rail cover for front seat







1 - Front rail cover

Removing
- Pull handle for forward and backward adjustment and move front seat - 4 - to rearmost position.
- Remove securing clip - 2 - (2x).
- Remove rail cover - 1 - (2x).
- Remove bolts - 3 - (2x).

2 - Securing clip (2x)
3 - Bolt (2x)
- Tightening torque 50 Nm

Removing and installing rear rail cover for front seat







1 - Rear rail cover

Removing
- Pull handle for forward and backward adjustment and move front seat - 4 - forward as far as possible.
- Remove securing clips - 2 - (4x).
- Remove rail cover - 1 - (2x).
- Remove bolt - 3 - (2x).

2 - Securing clip (4x)
3 - Bolt (2x)
- Tightening torque 50 Nm

Removing and installing belt mount







1 - Belt mount

NOTE: Height adjustable seat: Raise seat.

Removing
- Remove cover - 2 - pull upward.
- Remove belt mount - 1 - pull down in direction of - arrow -.

2 - Cover

Connectors, disconnecting







1 - Front seat
2 - Buckle interrogation connector (black)
3 - Heated seat connector (green)
4 - Power supply connector (red)
5 - Airbag connector (yellow)
6 - Connector point cover

Removing
- Tilt front seat - 1 - back.
- Remove connection point cover - 6 - upward.
- Press tab on airbag connector - 5 - inboard side and remove airbag connector - 5 -.
- Press tab on power supply connector - 4 - inboard side and remove power supply connector - 4 -.
- Press tab on seat heating connector - 3 - inboard side and remove seat heating connector - 3 -.
- For vehicles with buckle interrogation: Press in tab on buckle interrogation connector - 2 - inboard side and remove buckle interrogation connector - 2 -.
- Connect airbag adapter.
- With assistance from a second mechanic, lift front seat - 1 - out of vehicle.
