Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Centering Mandrel (3176)

Bearing Driver (3264)

Depth Gauge (VAS 6082)

Internal Puller (Kukko 21/2)

Counter-Support (Kukko 22/1)

Transmission removed.

- Remove clutch pressure plate.

- Measure the depth - dimension x - that the needle bearing is driven into the dual-mass flywheel and note this for later re-installation.

- Pull out needle bearing using Internal Puller ( Kukko 21/2) and Counter-Support (Kukko 22/1).

The plastic ring in the dual-mass flywheel is affected by impacts. If plastic ring is damaged, the dual-mass flywheel must be replaced.

- Drive needle bearing into dual-mass flywheel using Bearing Driver (3264).
