General Specifications
Cylinder Head
Tighten cylinder head bolts in 4 stages in tightening sequence - 1 to 10 - as follows:
Torque wrench 30 Nm
Torque wrench 60 Nm
Torx key 90 degrees (1/4 turn)
Torx key + 90 degrees (1/4 turn)
There is no requirement to retighten the cylinder head bolts after repairs.
Torque bolts -arrows- with locking compound 8 Nm
Rigid wrench bolts -arrows- + 90 degrees (1/4 turn)
Always replace bolts that are tightened to torque.
Camshaft Bearing Bracket
Hand-tighten guide frame bolts equally, in sequence - 1 to 24 -.
Torque specifications
Main Bearing Guide
Replace bolts - 1 to 20 -.
Tighten bolts for guide frame as follows:
Torque wrench bolts - 1 to 10 - 30 Nm
Torque wrench bolts - 11 to 20 - 20 Nm
Torque wrench bolts - 1 to 10 - 50 Nm
Torque wrench bolts - 11 to 20 - 30 Nm
Rigid wrench bolts - 1 to 10 - + 90 degrees (1/4 turn)
Rigid wrench bolts - 11 to 20 - + 90 degrees (1/4 turn)
Tighten bolts 9 Nm. in a diagonal sequence

Rod Bearing Cap
Torque 40 Nm + 90 degrees (1/4 turn)
Vibration Damper/Crankshaft Pulley
Tighten vibration damper bolts - arrow - diagonally in 3 stages.
Torque wrench 15 Nm.
Torque wrench 22 Nm.
Torx key + 90 degrees (1/4 turn).
