Magnetic Zone, Setting

It is necessary to set the magnetic zone when:

• A new Automatic Day/Night Interior Mirror (Y7) is being installed.

• On long drives, it may be necessary to set a different zone, that is, if you travel more than two zones away from the base zone.

Setting:

- Press the button - 2 - for 6 to 9 seconds until " Z" and a number appear.





- Press the button - 2 - until the zone number appears.

- Find desired zone on world map:

• North America.

After a few seconds, compass display switches from zone number to direction.

- Make sure that after setting the zone, the automatic dimming feature on the interior rearview mirror is re-activated. Refer to => [ Compass, Switching On and Off ] Compass, Switching on and Off.
