Transfer gear oil level, checking - 09L, 6 Speed AWD A/T

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required





^ Drip tray V.A.G 1306
^ Safety goggles

Condition

^ Gear oil about 20 degrees C (room temperature)

Work sequence

- Drive vehicle onto a four-column hoist or over an inspection pit so that it is absolutely horizontal.
- Place drip tray V.A.G 1306 under transmission.

CAUTION!
Wear safety goggles.





- Remove plug - arrow -.

^ The oil level must be up to lower edge of filler hole.

- Top off with gear oil if necessary.

Note:
^ The plug with seal must be replaced.

- Tighten new plug to 35 Nm.
