Cylinder Head Bolts





Replace bolts
First step: Bolts 1 through 10 Hand tight
Second step: Bolts 1 through 10 30 Nm
Third step: Bolts 1 through 10 60 Nm
Fourth step: Bolts 1 through 10 Tighten 90° further
Fifth step: Bolts 1 through 10 Tighten 90 further
Sixth step: Bolts with arrows (use locking fluid) 8 Nm
Seventh step: Bolts with arrows Tighten 90° further

Cylinder Head Distortion Inspection





Check the cylinder head on several locations for distortion using a straight edge 500 mm (VAS 6075) and a feeler gauge

Maximum permissible distortion 0.1 mm
