Fuel Pressure Sensor
Removing
- Remove intake manifold.
- Open the high pressure line union nut at the fuel rail.
- Remove the Fuel Pressure Sensor (G247) bolt - 1 -.
• The installation location may differ on vehicle from MY 2009.
- Remove the Fuel Pressure Sensor (G247) with the high pressure line.
• Do not change the angles of the high pressure lines.
Installing
- Tighten the Fuel Pressure Sensor (G247).
• Tightening Specifications. Refer to => [ Component Location Overview ] Component Location Overview
• The high pressure line connectors - arrows - must not be damaged.
• Do not bend the high pressure line to a different angle.
- Tighten the high pressure line union nut by hand.
- Make sure the high pressure line is free of tension.
- Tighten the 17 mm union nut on the high pressure line with the Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1331) and 17 mm Socket Insert (V.A.G 1331/6).
Further installation is in reverse order.
- Install intake manifold.
