Front Seat Pan Cover and Upholstery, Power Memory Seats, S6

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Upholstery clip pliers (V.A.G 1634)

Removing

- Remove cover and upholstery from seat pan => [ Seat Pan Cover and Upholstery ] Front Seat Covers and Upholstery, Power Memory Seats, S6.

- Remove cover - 1 - from upholstery - 2 - as far as possible.





- Cut through wire clips - 3 - with pliers - 4 -.

- Using a screwdriver, pry wire - 2 - and - 3 - out of upholstery retainer guides - 4 -.





- Disengage rear cover - arrows - at upholstery retainer - 4 -.

- Remove cover from cushion.

Installing

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order. Observe the following when doing so:

- Use new wire clips.

- Close wire clips with Upholstery Clip Pliers (V.A.G 1634).

- Place wire clips in their original locations.
