Four-Way Lumbar Support Assembly Overview

Versions for specific countries: vehicles from 08/06

Modular wiring routing came into effect with series production of seats.

Check version of front seat and of vehicle and perform repairs accordingly.

1 Four-way lumbar support

Removing and Installing => [ Four-Way Lumbar Support ] Power Front Memory Seats, S6

2 Driver Seat Lumbar Support Curvature Adjustment Motor (V125) or Front Passenger's Seat Lumbar Support Curvature Adjustment Motor (V126)

Removing and Installing => [ Lumbar Support Curvature Adjustment Motors ] Power Front Memory Seats, S6

3 Clip

For release cable guide => [ (Item 4) Release ]

4 Release

For adjusting lumbar support

can only be replaced with Driver Seat Lumbar Support Height Adjustment Motor (V129) or Front passenger Seat Lumbar Support Height Adjustment Motor (V130)

5 Driver Seat Lumbar Support Height Adjustment Motor (V129) or Front passenger Seat Lumbar Support Height Adjustment Motor (V130)

Removing and Installing => [ Lumbar Support Height Adjustment Motors ] Power Front Memory Seats, S6

6 Backrest frame

7 Rivet

Rivet using special pop rivet pliers (V.A.G 1753A)

Before riveting, a plastic washer must be placed between lumbar support and backrest frame => [ (Item 10) Plastic washer ]

8 Release

For adjusting lumbar support

Can only be replaced with Driver Seat Lumbar Support Curvature Adjustment Motor (V125) or Front Passenger's Seat Lumbar Support Curvature Adjustment Motor (V126)

9 Clip

10 Plastic washer

Between four-way lumbar support and backrest frame

11 Retaining plate

12 Retainer

13 Cable tie
