Upper Control Arm

Removing

- Remove suspension strut with mounting bracket. Refer to => [ Coil Spring Suspension Strut with Mounting Bracket ] Coil Spring Suspension Strut with Mounting Bracket.

- Loosen nuts - 1 - and remove bolts - 2 -.






- Remove control arms - 3 - and - 4 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Secure upper control arms - 3 - and - 4 - using screws - 2 - and nuts - 1 - just enough so that control arms cannot move in their positions.

Upper Front Control Arm






- Adjust height - A -.

A = 94 mm +/- 2 mm

Upper Rear Control Arm






- Adjust height - A -.

- A - = 85 mm +/- 2 mm

Continuation for Upper Front and Rear Control Arms






- Tighten new nuts - 1 -. Refer to => [ Coil Spring Suspension Strut, Mounting Bracket and Upper Control Arm Assembly Overview ] Removal and Replacement.

- Check position of upper control arms.

- Repeat adjustment, if necessary.

- Reinstall suspension strut. Refer to => [ Coil Spring Suspension Strut with Mounting Bracket ] Coil Spring Suspension Strut with Mounting Bracket.
