Transmission, Securing to Assembly Stand





Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Hook and support tool (3311) with bolt (3311/1)

• Holding fixture (VW 313)

• Holding plate (VW 309)

• Shop Crane (VAS 6100) or (V.A.G 1202 A)

Work procedure

• Transmission removed

CAUTION!
• Exchange bolt on Hook and Support Tool (3311) for a new, longer bolt (3311/1).

• The new bolt (3311/1) is longer. Only this way is the transmission fastened securely.

- Secure transmission to Hook and Support Tool (3311) (using new, longer bolt (3311/1)) and to Holding Plate (VW 309).





- Insert into holding fixture (VW 313) using shop crane.

• If the filled transmission is turned upside down with the oil pan facing upward, the vents for transmission housing and final drive must be closed off.
