1 Oil Pump Driveshaft

2 Oil Pump Housing

3 Bolt

• 23 Nm

4 Gears

• Backlash, measuring, refer to => [ Backlash, Measuring ]

• Checking axial play, refer to => [ Axial Play, Checking ]

5 Oil Pump Cover

• With check-valve

• Check-valve opening pressure: 5.3 to 5.7 bar positive pressure

• Clean strainer if contaminated

6 Bolt

• Insert with locking compound; Locking compound.

• 8 Nm

7 Oil Pressure Line

• Coat at cylinder block and at oil pump housing with sealing paste; sealing paste.

8 Bolt

• 10 Nm

9 Seal

• Replace if damaged

Backlash, Measuring





- Measure with feeler gauge.

• Wear limit: 0.20 mm.

Axial Play, Checking





- Measure with feeler gauge and straight edge.

• Wear limit: 0.10 mm.
