Installing

Tightening specifications, refer to => [ Air Filter Assembly Overview ] Engine Code CDMA.

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following.

For trouble-free function of the mass air flow (MAF) sensor, it is important to observe the following notes and perform the work procedures exactly.

Replace O-ring.

In the event the air filter element is severely contaminated or completely saturated, dirt particles or moisture may penetrate the MAF sensor and falsify the measured air mass value. This results in a reduction of power, since a lower injection quantity is calculated.

Always use an original air filter.

Use a silicon-free lubricant to install the air duct hose.

Secure all hose connections with hose clamps appropriate for the model.
