Control Position Entry, Reprogramming with Vehicle Diagnostic Tester

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Vehicle diagnostic tester with corresponding diagnostic cable.

• During a test drive, the testing and measuring equipment must always be secured on the back seat.

• These devices may be operated only by a passenger during a test drive.

- Connect vehicle diagnostic tester with corresponding diagnostic cable to vehicle.

- Switch vehicle diagnostic tester on.

- Switch on ignition.

• If control modules or electric/electronic components were replaced, component adaptation should be carried out in "Guided Functions".

- Touch Guided Functions and the screen.

Then:

- "Chassis (Repair group 01; 40 - 49)"

- "14 - Wheel damping electronics"

- Select the corresponding program in "Guided Functions".

- 14 - Code control module (repair group 40)

or

- 14 - Replace control module (repair group 40)

or

- 14 - Reprogram control position (repair group 40)

- Follow the prompts on the screen.
