Front Interior Lamp/Reading Lamp LED

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Trim Removal Wedge (3409)

• If the LED is faulty, then the interior lamp/reading lamp must be replaced.






Removing

- Remove front interior/reading lamp. Refer to => [ Front Interior Lamp/Reading Lamp ] Front Interior Lamp/Reading Lamp.

- Slightly lift the LED board - 1 - and - 3 - pull it in - direction of arrow - out of the socket - 2 -.

- Carefully pry the diffusion lens - 2 - using the (3409) out of the socket - 1 -.






- If equipped, remove the Garage door opener control head (E284) - item 3 -. Refer to => [ Garage Door Opener Control Head (E284) ] Garage Door Opener Control Head (E284).

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Press the interior/reading lamp lens on until it engages.

- Insert interior/reading light into roof cutout and clip.
