Cylinder Head Tightening Sequence

Replace the cylinder head bolts





Tighten cylinder head bolts in - 1 through 10 - sequence as follows.

1. Tighten to 40 Nm
2. Tighten further 90°
3. Tighten further 90°

Maximum permissible distortion 0.05 mm

Guide Frame Tightening Sequence





Replace bolts

1. Hand-tighten bolts in several stages in sequence - 1 through 6 -.
2. Tighten the bolts in sequence - 1 through 6 - to 8 Nm.
3. Give 90° (1/4 turn) additional turn in - 1 through 6 -.
