High-Mounted Brake Lamp Bulb (M25)

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to => [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Removing






- Do not press brake pedal.

Audi TT and Audi TTS

- Manually extend rear spoiler.

- Remove lower luggage compartment lid trim.

Audi TTRS

- Remove the rear spoiler.

Continuation for all

- Remove nuts - 2 and 3 -.

- Disconnect electrical connector - 1 -.

- Tape off area around center high-mounted brake light with fabric tape.

- Carefully loosen center high-mounted brake light from sealing strip adhesive on rear lid.

- Guide a small screwdriver - 3 - through the opening and release the retaining spring - 2 -.






- Remove center high-mounted brake light - 1 - from rear lid - arrow -.

Installing

Tightening specification, refer to => [ Fog Lamp, Center High-Mounted Brake Light, License Plate Lamps Overview ] Fog Lamp, Center High-Mounted Brake Light, License Plate Lamps Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Entire high-mounted brake light must be replaced in the event of faulty LEDs.

- Press center high-mounted brake light into opening until retainers engage.

Audi TT and TTS

- Install lower rear lid trim.

Audi TTRS

- Install the rear spoiler.
