• Before performing repairs on electro-mechanical steering, the malfunction cause must be determined as exactly as possible using Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System (VAS 5051B) in operating modes "Guided Fault Finding", "Vehicle Self-Diagnosis" and "Test Instruments".
