Fuel Level Sensor, from 11.04

Removing

Observe safety precautions. Refer to => [ Safety Precautions ] Service Precautions.

Observe rules for cleanliness. Refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] Clean Working Conditions.

- Install the fuel delivery unit. Refer to => [ Fuel Delivery Unit ] Fuel Delivery Unit.


Before removing electrical connectors on fuel level sensor (G), first release contact retaining tabs.

- Disengage electrical connectors - 1 to 3 - and disconnect them.





- Pry on the retaining tabs - 4 - and - 5 - with a screwdriver and pull the fuel level sensor off downward - arrow -.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

- Insert the fuel level sensor in the guides on the fuel delivery unit and push upward until it engages.

- Connect the electrical connections and check that they are securely engaged.

- Install fuel delivery unit => [ Installing ] Fuel Delivery Unit. Follow the instructions for connecting the battery.
