Procedure






- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

Battery in Engine Compartment

- Remove battery cover - 1 - by pressing release button - arrow -.

- Connect battery charger red charging clamp + to battery terminal clamp + - item 1 - and black charging clamp - to battery terminal clamp - - item 2 -.






• Disregard item - 1 -.

Battery in luggage compartment






- Release retaining clamps - arrow - in engine compartment and open cover - 3 - over positive terminal grip.

- Connect battery charger red charging clamp + - item 1 - to positive terminal grip - 2 - and black charging clamp - - item 4 - to negative terminal grip - 5 -.

All

- Connect battery charger electrical system connector and switch charger on.
