Relay and Fuse Panel B, through 05.2009

Removing





- With ignition switched off, disconnect battery ground wire.

Vehicles with the old version E-box

- Press the retaining clips in - direction of arrow - and remove the E-box cover.

Vehicles with the new version E-box





- Slide both latches in - direction of arrow - and remove the E-box cover.

All Vehicles





- When re-installing, identify the wires on the threaded connectors.

- Release the retaining clips - 2 - and move the wiring harness - 1 - to the side - arrow -.

- Remove the nuts - 3 through 7 - and disconnect the wires from the retainers.

- Remove the bolts - arrow -.





- Remove the relay and fuse panel B (SB) from the engine compartment E-box.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Mount the relay and fuse panel B on the engine compartment E-box. Tighten the central bolt; when doing so the connectors will be pushed up.

- Connect and tighten the wires according to the markings on the engine compartment E-box main fuse panel.





Tighten the nuts - 6 - and - 7 - to 4.5 Nm.

Tighten the nuts - 3, 4 and 5 - to 6 Nm.

- Connect battery.
