Luggage Compartment Side Trim







Luggage Compartment Side Trim

Removing


Observe safety precautions for work on airbags.

- Remove the rear bench seat. Refer to => [ Rear Bench Seat ] Rear Bench Seat.

- Remove 1/3 rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Left 1/3 and Right 2/3 Backrest without Center Armrest Component Overview ] Left 1/3 and Right 2/3 Backrest without Center Armrest Component Overview.

- Remove 2/3 rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Left 1/3 or Right 2/3 Backrest ] Left 1/3 or Right 2/3 Backrest.

Vehicles without side airbag

- Remove lower C-pillar trim.

Vehicles with side airbag

- Remove rear side airbag.

All:

- Remove rear cross panel trim. Refer to => [ Rear Cross Panel Trim ] Rear Cross Panel Trim.

- Using a flat-head screwdriver, press in retaining tab - 1 - on left luggage compartment trim and pry out luggage compartment light - 2 -.





- Disconnect the connector - 3 -.

- Remove the bolt - 1 -.





- Remove spring clamps from body - arrows -.

- Raise luggage compartment side trim up out of tie-down eyes - 2 - and remove from luggage compartment.

Installation

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

- Install rear cross panel trim. Refer to => [ Rear Cross Panel Trim ] Rear Cross Panel Trim.

Vehicles without side airbag:

- Install lower C-pillar trim.

Vehicles with side airbag:

- Install rear side airbag.

All:

- Install 2/3 rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Left 1/3 or Right 2/3 Backrest ] Left 1/3 or Right 2/3 Backrest.

- Install 1/3 rear seat backrest. Refer to => [ Left 1/3 and Right 2/3 Backrest without Center Armrest Component Overview ] Left 1/3 and Right 2/3 Backrest without Center Armrest Component Overview.

- Install the rear bench seat. Refer to => [ Rear Bench Seat ] Rear Bench Seat.

- Install rubber seal lip over leading edge on luggage compartment side trim.
